Support the future of the Alexander Technique
Attending an international Alexander Technique Congress can be life-shaping experience, but the cost of registration, housing, and travel often makes participation impossible for people experiencing financial hardship.
Your donation helps remove these financial barriers and supports a dedicated fund to offer scholarships to trainees and teachers of the Alexander Technique who have not previously attended a congress.
Why this matters
Trainees and newly qualified teachers are at a formative point in their relationship to the work. Being part of a congress at this stage can:
Deepen embodied understanding
Broaden perspective beyond a single training program
Foster connection, mentorship, and confidence
Support diversity and global participation
When you donate, you are supporting a real person at a pivotal moment—and helping ensure the Alexander Technique continues to be transmitted with depth, care, and vitality. Every gift matters and thank you for helping make Congress accessible to those who will carry the work into the future!

”I am grateful to have received support to attend the Dublin Congress. I made many new connections with practitioners across the world, and strengthened ties with those I knew from earlier. The life of an independent Alexander Technique teacher can be challenging, especially in the context of India, where it is so new. In the couple of years since beginning to teach, I have had many moments of disillusionment in the face of too much to do with not quite enough external support. But I’m glad I attended the Dublin Congress, because it showed me that I’m not alone in the occasional struggle, and that there are many glimmers and avenues for support in the global community. In the weeks since returning to Bangalore, I have been implementing new learning in my lessons, and initiating or continuing conversations with other teachers. I feel more grounded in the worldwide Alexander Technique community, as a direct consequence of having attended the Dublin Congress. I am sure in the weeks and months to come, I will discover some indirect effects. I look forward to the process unfolding, and to the next Congress, wherever it may be.”
